The OYSTER CRACKER is a longer and wider version of the RESCUE MINOR designed in 1942 by William Atkin. The boat is 20 feet 6 inches long and 6 feet 8 inches wide. with two men and gear the boat draws 8 INCHES of water. The 10 inch prop is powered by an ultra-clean burning diesel motor. The boat gets an amazing 1/2 GALLON AN HOUR ! This unique little tunnel hull cruises in 8 inches of water. Running in grass flats there is NO PROP SCARING. The propeller is well protected and TOTALLY WEED LESS. She planes at less than 5 mph. with top speed around 18 mph. A keel cooler recessed into the bottom enables the OYSTER CRACKER to tackle SERIOUS MUD while keeping the motor cool. The boat comes with a 25 hp. Kubota motor. This motor exceeds Californiaemissions for the year 2015! If you really want to go green, order the OPTIONAL DIESEL ELECTRIC HYBRID or ALL ELECTRIC drive system.
